ABC
Via swissmiss
As a child, we use to sing a rhyme that goes "A-B-C, kiam chye char loti." The second half, in Hokkien, and is almost senseless as it says "to stir-fry (char) bread (loti) with salted vegetable (kiam chye)". I do wonder who invented this little ditty, and whether there were other variations.

AoP 04 - Countingdown
Just a day to go and everyone was bringing in their artist trading cards. Wonderful creations and collections for the parade.

It was fun selecting the cards, laying them out and putting on the final touches.

Until tonight, none of us knew exactly how it would all look like together. It is quite a delight by the end of the evening just to see how all the pieces fit and the burst of colours and creativity before us. Here's a glimpse of a part of it.

If you are nearby, do delight us with your presence at ATC on Parade from 7 to 18 August at Pauseability.

See To Believe?
This painting was done by a man born without eyes. Is that possible? Enjoy Esref Armagan's work here.
See him in action in this video.

Music to the Eye
For someone like me who cannot play any music, this visual representation of Bach is simply fascinating. Love that little portion where the notes move very quickly up and down in a squiggle.

AoP 03 - Getting Ready
Just a few more days to go before the ATC on Parade exhibition starts on 7 August.

This is how our ATCs will be displayed on boards and then mounted on walls.

A little 3D promo piece that was made to advertise the event to those who pass by Pauseability.

Another beautiful set of Singapore-theme cards that came in from Scotland for the swap to be hosted during the exhibition.
The parade is forming up nicely. Feel the excitement in the air!
