It was fun sharing with this crafting group KBCC how to make my version of a hand-stitched matchbook notebook. As always, the set of creations is impressively colourful and personalised.

And my modest samples were really rather plain.


Most importantly, we had a great Saturday afternoon together. (And the kueh pie tee for teabreak was yummy!)

Balancing Act

Southern Ridges Stroll

We made an early start on a cloudy morning from Harbourfront MRT station for our walk on the Southern Ridges.

There were lovely flora and fauna as well as architectural beauty to take in along the way.


The two-hour walk ended with a hearty breakfast at nearby Alexnadra Village.


Fresh air, great sights and wonderful company - what a delightful way to spend the Saturday morning.

Nature Trail

Care to go for a morning stroll at the Southern Ridges?

We are doing just that this Saturday, 14 Nov, starting from Harbourfront MRT station at 7 am and walking to HortPark. It is expected to take between 1.5 to 2 hours.

Join us at Exit B at 7 am.

We loved working with the textured base created with gesso and created quite a riot of colours and styles. This month, Peiling showed us how she works with gesso and very kindly prepared the base cards for us to work on.



There were some interesting ATCs and as always, we enjoy catching with each other and meeting new friends.



Next month, we meet on 10 Dec and the theme is "My Friend" for which we would use symbols and objects to represent our friends.
