Not one to rave over cars, even with the recent F1 night race in Singapore, but this car truly fascinates me.

And if this skin keeps cars cool in tropical Singapore too, it will be a sure winner.

KBCC September edition - Print-making today was fun as was the company, as usual.

Since Children's Day is around the corner, it was so nice to return to a craft we all have tried our hands at as a kid. It sure brought out the child in all of us.

Dotee

I chanced upon Dotee Dolls this morning and after reading up a little, I just had to try my hands at it. And tried I did.


Made five in all!

Dotee Dolls were first designed by Dorothy Christian and named after her. There is now quite a community of people who trade them, just like ATCs.


This is one of my favourite.

Despite my primitive sewing skills, I was able to put these dolls together within a day averaging an hour and a half each. So, I figure anyone game enough should be able to make it too.

Thanks to the folks at Drinkdings, we had some complimentary drinks at our latest ATC live trade session.

We also had our first ever theme trade and there were some great ideas for "9ine".

I am happy that a few of my ATCs were selected for this publication.

My Way

Here is the French song by Claude François that was the origin of My Way.

And in a recent tribute to Claude, quirky Japanese musician Kenzo Saeki made this funky remix of Lundi au Soleil. (via Tokyomango)

Since I neither understand French nor Japanese, I thought Kenzo's version was sung in Japanese. Here is the original French version.

It's lovely seeing how creativity can infuse such a new flavour even to something existing. Did something your way today?

What's the Time

The Human Clock is such a fun project. It shows a photograph of the current time, with the photo changing every minute of the day (all 1,440 occuring minutes on Earth!) Thus you end up with a rotating picture clock.

You get to submit your photo too.

Snails

Quite recently, I drew this rather whimsical piece. An odd combination I thought.

Then today, I read that a schoolgirl broke the record of having the most number of snails on her face.
