IF - Theater
The dazzling colours of the Chinese Opera has always fascinated me. I have even taken classes to learn some basic opera moves.
How does this fearsome warrior cat look to you?

KBCC April - Needle Felting
It was fun trying needle felting for the first time at the latest KBCC, our monthly crafting group.
Working with that special sharp needle was as fun as it felt (*ha*) dangerous. It could be a challenge shaping the wool. Not too sure what it is exactly that I finally created.
Of course, we were also very excited about the Easter swop that we had. Just look at the loving handmade gifts we had for each other.

Pee Poo Bag
Poor sanitation leading to contamination of whatever little water available is a problem in a large part of the world. The Pee Poo Bag is a simple and powerful invention.
One of its features is the Urea lining in the bag which helps in the sanitation process.
Its design is nice too.

Voca People
Amusing video of an accapella group with a touch of beat-box - The Voca People.
Music director is Shai Fishman (his site is cool).
Strangely, I cannot find more about this group other than this same video clip.

Lelong, So Long, Farewell - Buy Buy
It was a chockful Saturday at Pauseability's Lelong, So Long, Farewell Flea Market. Starting with the crowd that has come to the nearby market, we had a continuous stream of friends and customers.
Friends of Pauseability turn stallholders today brought a colourful range of handmade goodies and retro treasures to the event. Here are some snapshots:
It was a superb Saturday.
New Beginning
Today is the start of the Lelong, So Long, Farewell Flea Market at Pauseability.
This will be the final event before the brick and mortar Pauseability comes to a close. Many have asked how I feel about it and often I am stumped for an answer. In a sense it is like parting with a good friend - some sadness but also highly appreciative of the good times together.
Indeed, the wonderful friendships I have forged in these two years and the treasury of memories and experience I have amassed are more than what I could have asked for.
And with Easter as a reminder of new beginnings, this closing of a chapter will also mark the start of some things fresh as well as more of what Pauseability has come to be known for.
Stay tuned.

We Have Time
Feel pressed for time? Here is an interesting take on how much time we actually do have on our hand.
Time to produce and share?

Moss Here
It takes some pausing and fresh eyes to realise the beauty and colours of moss. Thanks NotCot for sharing with us.
Perhaps we are mostly to much in a hurry to have enjoyed all these. No wonder that rolling stones gather no moss?

A-Live Apr 09
Had our April's session of the live ATC trade tonight. Some lovely embroidery work for the theme "Sew On and So Forth".
This is the last session in the Pauseability shop space. Next month, we move to Bishan Library on 14 May (Thu) from 6.30 pm.
So, our theme for next month is "Moving" and at tonight's session we all tried our hands at making cards with something that moves.
Parts are hinged and can be animated.
Pull the string on these and an object moves.
Get moving and join us next month at the Bishan Library!
