Seeing is Believing?

Can the balls roll up-slope?

This is no video editing trick. Just a clever optical illusion. Don't blink now.

ATC @ Bishan Library Jan 2011

ATC @ Bishan Library 2011
Our first ATC session for the year took place this evening. It was fun trying blond contour drawing together.

There were many new ATCs made based on the theme of Chinese New Year. I like Wee Yeh's ATC which included the use of stippling that we learnt together last month.

We meet again on 10 Feb at Bishan Library and the theme is "Heart".

Sketchwalk: Margaret Drive

Sketchwalk Margaret Drive
A pleasant morning today spent at Margaret Drive with fellow sketchwalkers.

This place used to be my usual lunchtime haunt when I was working at Kay Siang. With a few buildings demolished, the place already looks desolate.

I especially like this piece that showed the majestic trees that must have witnessed the heydays of this area. Could they have been there even before the buildings?

Little by Little

Kindy Invite

A project I undertook for a kindergarten's anniversary dinner which was on 30 Dec.

Slightly corny play on Lego being joined together and how changes have come about in the past 20 years through the joint partnership of all involved little by little.

Hand-drawn illustrations.

See more here.

Fruitful Kindy Tree

An original Lego sculpture was commissioned for the occasion too. At the end of the dinner, everyone brought home a piece of this sculpture as a memento.
