Creativity Abounds

As people paused by Pauseability, it has been such great joy to see how everyone has been able to explore their own creativity. Even when they don't see themselves as creative.


These were made by Rita after learning to weave by hand. Her personalised embellishments are charming.


And these journals were made by Stephanie and Suki who came by recently, and each one reflects it's creator.


This group paused by some time back and you can again see how each person's angel clay cupcake is uniquely creative.


Of course, our Artist Trading Card trade sessions every second Thursday of the month have been good times to see the variety of artwork that we all produce.

This fantastic art installation by Bunny with a Toolbelt is awe inspiring. I like the kiddy bright colours, the dynamic sense of motion and the wonderful variety in the details.

Such a wonderful idea for an art installation. It's amazing what we have to say about ourselves, and maybe, just what we have to say at all, with such a prompt.

A friend just told me how busy she is and how it has been near impossible to pause. I told her that she should tell herself "i'm-pauseable" instead. Corny I know, but not far from true yes?

This is a beautiful animation for Mother's Day. Yves Geleyn's artistry is inspiring (and I love this other piece he did called Kotori)



As a kid, I remember how Mom would surprise us once in a while with a pack of fried hokkien mee for supper. We would whip out our chopsticks, take in the rich smell that rises with the steaming noodles, and share the joy of eating together. Tangy lime on my finger tips and the taste of egg, thick stock and chilli linger into the night. This could be why I love that dish so much.
